London, United Kingdom – FIPLAB Ltd, the graduate start-up behind the leading iPhone app for the Baclays Cycle Hire Scheme announced today that its London Cycle: Maps & Routes application has surpassed 80,000 user downloads in less than 4 weeks since its launch on the iTunes AppStore.

The app, which has been a hit success from day one, has received numerous write ups on leading publications such as the Evening Standard and has been ranked on iTunes as the Number 1 Free Travel application. FIPLAB state that the application’s continued success is down to strong word of mouth by its user community, who are passionate about providing them with valuable feedback, allowing them to work towards their goal of creating the perfect companion tool for the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme.

What’s interesting is that the application is not just being used by cycle hire members, but also regular cyclists who are using the app due to the cycle-safe routes it provides. With the expanding world of mobile applications however, a new type of agency has begun to take shape, the mobile app agency – specializing in mobile app promotion and how to get them noticed in an ever crowded marketplace. Simon will be demonstrating the new Magic Bullet Colorista II, Magic Bullet Grinder, Magic Bullet Looks and Magic Bullet Mojo, and will reveal how editors can work with presets to create eye-popping grades in seconds. He’ll also be demonstrating DSLR workflows using Magic Bullet Grinder, which helps filmmakers get video footage out of their cameras and into their Final Cut Pro timeline fast, but at high quality and in edit friendly formats. He will also be showing a first look at Red Giant’s latest plug-in, which the company will be announcing at IBC. My nephew, who is 6 yrs. old, couldn’t get enough of it as he was waiting to play with it while I was in the middle of programming it.

Grenoble, France – Nemoid Studio today is pleased to announce a major update of their rhythm game Tunes Attack!, the first rhythm game on the App Store that proposed 3 different game plays dynamically generated by the player’s music. With the recent release of Apple iOS 4 it is now possible to play directly with the music from the iPod Library.

Before iOS 4, apps only had a limited access to iPod Library. They could play, pause and stop songs. That is it. There was no way for apps to analyze the music. Guildford, United Kingdom – In 1986 famed artist, illustrator and author Mike Wilks released into bookstores everywhere “The Ultimate Alphabet”, a collection of twenty six stunningly intricate paintings, one for every letter of the alphabet. In each painting were hidden anywhere from 30 (for the letter X) to more than twelve hundred (for the letter S) objects each whose name started with the corresponding letter. Unlike a traditional hidden objects game, the list of objects and corresponding words is completely unknown. Twenty four years later, independent game developer Toytek has brought the classic back to life as an interactive hidden objects game for the iPhone and iPad.
